It blows ice cold air that's around 25 degrees cooler than the incoming air measured with a digital thermometer. The coils and fins are clean and in good shape front and back. The inside is very clean and none of the screws show any rust. There's a little rust at the bottom rear typical of air conditioners in Myrtle Beach.
I bought it to replace a 5,000 btu unit in my master bedroom because I like to sleep cooler than the rest of family on central air. That winter my wife and I downsized to a townhouse and gave our house to our daughter who's cold blooded and NEVER used it. We're replacing the windows in the house so I'm selling it.
