Large Framed MDO Panel for painting or Mosaic substrate - $180 (Murrells Inlet)

Large MDO overlay panel framed with decorative moulding. The moulding has a beautiful leaf pattern. I had this panel specifically made to do a fine art painting on. It's been resting for a few years and I no longer paint so it's time for it to become a masterpiece under other hands. I am including a photo of a portrait I have done for a client using this medium for a fine art painting. MDO is a high quality Medium Density Overlay board with an extremely smooth surface on one side.
This panel is also a great substrate for doing mosaics on for indoor applications. Multiple uses for your creative endeavors!
This panel does need to be primed with Gesso, the edges need sanding and the back side ( which is pine panel board ) will need to be sanded, backed and sealed. It is made well with no seal gaps between the decorative moulding or the MDO board. There are tiny nail holes that need to be filled properly. All of this I used to do myself with few supplies needed. It is large and heavy.

Portrait shown was a commissioned portrait I did using this same type of panel. It was primed and painted using acrylic paints. Sealed with a water based sealer.
