Limited Edition this is number 0290 out of 1000 made. Then the master mold is broken. Handpainted casting edition of an original wood carved sculpture by Leo Smith for Midwest of Cannon Falls. The lower the number of the edition the more valuable the piece. This Santa measures Nine inches tall, Two and a half inches deep, and Five and a half inches wide.
Leo Smith "Snow King" figure is new, no box and in excellent condition. Leo Smith was a featured Midwest artist in in the 90's. His Midwest items seem to be the most collectible. The resins are cast from his woodcarvings that were inspired by Mississippi River Valley folklore and hand numbered.
The two Santas I have listed are rarely available on the secondary market and have long since been sold out. A must have for the vintage collector of Santas. Serious inquiries. Firm.
