Here we have a gorgeous 1962 Gibson J50 acoustic guitar with 1-11/16 nut and not quite the larger rounded neck profile of the 50's Gibsons, thus my selling. It is in excellent shape and weighs in at an ounce or two over 4 lbs. Two cleated top crack repairs below bridge, a set of new Kluson single line, period looking tuners and a pickup was installed. This guitar sounds fantastic. It’s dry and woody, very open, very articulate, loud with good brightness with a real knockout punch to it. No other cracks, mods or repairs. Back and sides look fantastic as does the back of the neck. Brazilian board superior and smooth and no other cracks or repairs or mods.
